i'm not going to touch or eat whipped potatoes in another 1000 years.

hahahahah! actually i thought ok, maybe 10 years, then i thought, no lah.. 100 years.. then i thought, ok, 1000 years! at least i won't live till that long.. ok fine.. i'm not making any sense.. hahahaha!

anyway 'cos today in the morning i made whipped potatoes.. the betty croaker one.. 'cos i had one more packet left.. and i had to make something for my lunch.. ya.. then i put in two sauages that xue fen bought for us from pan pacific hotel.. heh.. cut them up into slices.. heh.. then i mixed them with the whipped potato.. but then this pouch that i made was too watery.. not as nice as the previous one.. yeah..

so anyway i had it for lunch.. just now only.. then waaaa.. i got very very very full.. and i had a small icelemontea too.. so i'm really really bloated..

so.. that's my story.. hahahahah! no more whipped potatoes for jiajia.. heh =D

i think it's very funny 'cos i always come into office with my hair very very messy cos i always wash my hair in the morning then it'll dry as i come to work.. hahahah! so it's always very messy.. very funny.. but i don't care.. hahahah! i wonder what do the office people think.. hahahaha.. i've got nothing to do at work now.. so i'm just using the internet.. went to search on melbourne stuff.. and there's this like hot pink shopping spree bus leh.. heh.. so they'll bring you around melbourne to all the warehouse sales and all the good and cheap places to shop.. but it's ex.. like around $90 something per person.. yeah.. but serene and i must definitely source out all the warehouse sales.. heh.. and i can't believe it that we're going to miss this jazz festival thingy.. the last day is on first of may.. so wasted.. anyway.. i feel very guilty.. 'cos i use so much of the internet today.. heh.. i really hope they can't trace.. and that they won't mind.. aiya, anyway i'm leaving already lah.. heh.. and i really no work to do mah.. so what do they want me to do? heh.. =D but i always feel very scared.. 'cos the IT department is just behind me.. very very scary one.. i scared they walk past and see me using the net.. heh.. =D i don't care! i've got God's SUPER favour! heh =D

hougang avenue seven residents are very very very very sporty and healthy and fit people! haahahha! everytime i go there right, always got alot alot of people exercising one!!! even at night after i finish tuition right, around nine something.. still got people jogging leh!!! hahahahah! so amazing.. hahahahha! =D

waa.. you know i always come to work and like type one whole pslam so that i can post it on my blog and talk about it but then always no time to do that.. as in i'll really type the whole pslam.. but then no time at all to like continue my blog.. =(

anyway, testimony time! hahahahah! on friday afternoon right, i took halfday leave to go to hui & kuah to go submit my monash university application.. then i also told him that i already applied to university of adelaide for medicine.. then i was asking him whether by now i should receive any letters from the uni updating me on my application.. then he went out of the room and then came back with a stack of emails to appilcants who are shortlisted for the PQA test.. then i saw my friend's name there lah.. then i asked the guy is it they get their reply 'cos they submitted their application earlier.. then he like never answer.. hahahah! as in i kept asking by now is it i should get my reply already.. then he never answer.. hahahah! then he like said that why don't i make them (hui and kuah) my authorised agent instead of my current one for uni of adelaide (IDP).. 'cos he was saying hui&kuah actually chases the uni to faster send the emails.. ya.. so anyway, i submitted my application to monash.. first choice was bachelor of radiography and medical imaging, second choice was double degree in law and science.. i really hope i made the right choice.. i mean.. i think the double degree in law and science is really cool.. as in i'm interested in it.. but then as you all know, i want to work in a hospital.. so that would be bachelor of radiography and medical imaging right? then i remembered like during my attachment to tan tock seng hospital, the surgeons were looking at the CT scans and the reports.. then i was think i'll be able to work with the surgeons if i become a radiographer.. ya.. aiya, but anyway, God's my guide lah ya? =)

so anyway after hui&kuah, i went to play tennis with mel and ujin and daniel at lydia's place.. then throughout that whole time i didn't think about my uni of adelaide medicine application at all.. then when i went home right, i went online lah.. and just checked my email as usual.. then..... i got an email from the uni!!! praise God! and it looked exactly like the ones i saw at hui&kuah.. so my PQA test is scheduled on 8th august.. long time from now.. but i mean.. God's really good.. He knows that i was alittle anxious about my application.. 'cos it's like the nus med application mah.. i didn't get any letter when the rest did.. then i was thinking, oh no, for the uni of adelaide one the emails have been sent out.. but how come i didn't receive anything.. i think it's really important for universities to send out "rejection letters".. as least to let the applicants know not to wait any more.. as in like to let the applicants know that they are not accepted.. so that the applicants can like look forward to their other courses.. get what i mean? ya.. if not it's very jia lat one leh.. waiting and waiting for a letter but never getting any response.. ya...

so ya anyway, God's good.. 'cos i didn't really tell him that i was worried about my application for uni of adelaide med.. but then He knows you know.. He knows that i'm bothered about it.. He's so good to me.. He's really an awesome, loving, caring Friend and Father.. =D

oh the PQA test consists of three sections.. the first one is something like SATS leh.. like iq.. then the other two are like personality tests.. which are fun! heh =D looking forward to doing the test! =D

oh now 'cos my agent made a mistake by sending my pay cheques ($700+ worth) to the wrong address, so now i'm very broke.. i only have like $3 in my bank.. so yesterday i went with mummy to carrefour.. then i bought two boxes of Chewy granola bars.. heh.. smores and the cookies and milk flavours.. and this box of cereals.. but they are really sweet! don't really like.. so anyway, i'm going to have granola bars for my lunch from now on.. hahahah! 'cos even if i get my pay cheques right, i cannot touch the money.. 'cos it's for my australia trip.. yeah.. =) and i want to buy this really nice gym-like bag from annex! saw it yesterday when i was out with kahyi and gleedys.. heh.. =D it's like a guy on a motorbike and at the exhaust there are like flames/fumes.. super super nice.. =D but it's huge! but i don't care.. and it's cheap for it's size and design.. thirty nine bucks i think.. should i loan money from mummy first to get it first? 'cos i scared by the time i get my pay cheque and bank it in then no more already.. ya.. so, i shall ask mummy tonight.. heh =D

oh yesterday we had a class diner!!! ok sort of.. hahahah! only jasmine (who didn't go for the dinnner, left earlier), gleedys, kahyi, isaac, chai and cy went.. heh =D but it was still nice.. heh =D then very funny.. over dinner the guys were talking about their NS stuff.. but it was really funny.. chai has very very weird friends.. hahahahah! he was telling us about this bunkmate who like likes to keep insects.. hahahah! he would like bring weird insects back from field camp and put them into a box which he proudly calls, "the infantry shire".. hahahahah! as in he really labelled the box as that leh.. hahahah! so this was how the infantry shire was established.... he found an ant one day and named it JoJo... hahahhahahaha! then he went to make the shire.. he used a shoebox i think.. something like that.. oh no.. maybe it was a box which they use to store their bullets.. then so he cut it up.. and like used those plastic sheets (you know those that we use to wrap our textbooks with?ya..) and like made a window! hahahahah! and in order not to like JoJo run away while he was making the shire right, he actually scotch-taped JoJo's leg down onto the table!!! hahahahahah! terrible!!! and when he finished making the shire right, he turned around to get JoJo.. but then.. JoJo was dead already.. hahahah! poor JoJo.. he died with his leg stuck to the table.. hahahaha.. crazy guy right? the shire never did leave.. from then on.. his friend would bring back insects from field camp.. hahaha and like put them in the shire.. hahahah! but all the insects died.. they probably didn't get along well with one another.. hahahahah! =D

then there was another friend chai was telling us about.. he's this indian singh lah.. then you know they cannot cut their hair one right? so they have it tied up in a turban.. but then at night they have to wash their hair right? so it's very scary 'cos at night they will see a dark guy in the corner with his long hair all over his face.. then they'll get very scared.. hahahah! then they'll realised, aiya, it's singh lah.. hahahah! ok maybe it doesn't sound funny here.. but when chai told us we were laughing like mad lah.. hahahahahah!

we're going for emerson's party on may day! heh =D

oh on saturday we had caregroup! yay! heh =D it was really really good.. i really miss caregroup.. during praise and worship i just felt really relaxed.. like at peace.. and the preaching and discussion were really really good too! i learnt alot! heh =D it was just very nice.. even though it was very late already and jiahao was very late for dinner.. we still continue to talk about God and His goodness.. and it was time while spent.. heh =D

(ok someone is hogging the photcopier machine so i can't photocopy stuff so i can blog some more.. heh =D )

oh on saturday i went to borders to look at melbourne travel guide books.. the lonely planet one is really good.. so sat down and like took down notes.. heh.. 'cos it was just not worth it to buy it.. too ex even after discount lor.. 'cos it's not like i'm going to stay in melbourne.. just going there for one week.. if i go to adelaide to study i'll buy the adelaide travel guide book.. more worth it mah.. heh.. oh my trip to borders is a testimony too! heh =D 'cos i went on a saturday.. so very crowded what right? then i picked out a few travel guide books.. and they were thick and huge and heavy! so i had to find a place to sit down and take down notes mah.. but then all the seats were occupied.. so i just sat down on the floor.. and when i just sat down right, the security guard came over to me and told me that i cannot sit on the floor.. ya lor.. so i had to get up again.. then when i just got up right, this guy who was sitting on a seat wanted to get up too! and he saw me, then he hestitated.. hahahaha 'cos he wanted to get up to go get another magazine and then go back to his seat.. then he looked at me, then i looked at him.. then he finally got up.. hahahah! and i sat at his seat.. praise God! favour leh! hahahahah! if not i would have to stand up and take notes.. which would have been very very mah fan.. 'cos i was carrying so many thick and heavy and huge books.. and my bag was big and heavy.. heh =D

today i'm going to work OT.. so tuition's tmr.. really MUST finish filling all the closed POs.. got one HUGE stack.. if don't do now then very jia lat.. 'cos i'm quitting on 6th may.. ya.. so must clear my work.. =D

oh and i can't go msn already.. 'cos got horrible virus.. and i don't know how to get rid of the virus.. downloaded the virus cleaner.. but doesn't work.. how?? i don't know.. hmmm..

yesterday on bus 143 on the way home from work, these three ang moh ladies boarded the bus.. they were quite loud.. and they were asking the bus driver about the bus fare... and when they talk they talk very loudly.. they're not from america.. i think french leh.. not very sure.. but one of the european countries lah =) so then i was just minding my own business, looking out of the window.. then suddenly this loud voice said, "excuse me where's orchard hotel?" hahahah! something along that line lah.. then turns out she was talking to me.. but she didn't even tap my shoulder or anything.. 'cos we were sitting diagonally across from each other.. as in i was just behind the driver's seat.. and she was on the seat behind me.. ya.. but anyway i tried to explain where it was.. then when i alighted from the bus.. she was like, "bye bye!" or something like that.. so nice hor? hahahahaha! =)

oh i bought the pc-link cable to transfer the photos in my phone to the computer.. BUT... the "plug" doesn't work! it's not compatible with any port on the labtop.. soooooooo irritating.. i think i have to buy a plug that will allow me to plug the wire into the labtop.. but then i don't know whether they have the type of plug that i'm looking for.. they better lor.. and anyway, i'm going to try going back to the samsung shop to ask what should i do.. and they better help me.. heh

i love my ac!!!! heh =D

today i went back to cdans for the inter-jc cdans shoot!! heh =D after church.. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. so so so many memories.. heh! =D just seeing all the shooters shooting and like gathering in groups in the range.. waaaa... really leh.. i miss my shooting days.. audrey and i came up with a great idea! hahaha! we're going to ask our seniors and our year shooters to gather to shoot one day! heh =D we're going to have a proper full detail, but then there will be no practice prior to our detail.. heh.. so it'll be fair.. hahahaha! 'cos all of us haven't shot in a long long time! heh =D i can't wait!! =D i miss shooting!!!!

and ya.. i was just reading kenneth's blog.. and he was talking about the ac spirit.. even though in the range we're suppose to be very quiet.. but the ac spirit was still there among our shooters.. how to say ah??? hahahahah! as in i really felt a connection with them.. even though some of them are not my direct juniors.. as in some of them are j ones.. but.. ya! i still feel very ac and i'll always feel very ac.. hahahah! am i making sense??? hahahahah! all my fellow ac friends out there, you get what i mean right?? hahahahah! outside of these sporting events right, i'm fine with other schools.. as in i don't like don't like them or anything.. but then during these sporting events right, whoa.. i'll feel very defensive.. hahahaha! and i'll start scolding the other schools and complaining about the other schools and talking bad about the other schools.. hahahahah! oops! sorry i said that.. but come on, i bet all of us are like that right? when we're rooting for one team, we'll really be very against the other teams.. heh =D

anyway i'm very proud of my shooters! heh =) they did their best! that's the thing.. even if we don't do as well as the rest, but we did our best! and we always come out feeling good about it.. and we still like come out happy and still very united.. and not arrogant or proud.. =) wonderful ac.. =D and i'm so proud of chance!! hahahahahah! he's super funny and a good shooter for a beginner.. and shall a relaxed shooter.. and best of all...................... he's from sc four tooo!!!!!!!! yay!!! class rep somemore leh!! hahahahaha! so proud of him! heh.. i just know him today only.. 2 minutes before i left the range.. hahahahahah! yeah man.. not only does ac rock, sc four rocks too! hahahahaha! i think i'm crazy.. hahahahah! =D lalalala! =D

anyway people, guess what? i bought my biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiible!!! finally!!! hahahah! =) guess which one i got? the precious moments brides edition one!!!! heh =D and here's another testimony! a small one! heh =D 'cos the price was $50 lah.. and i was very willing to pay that amount even though it's more expensive than the other bibles.. so i went to pay at the counter.. and the guy told me, "$48." heh.. i mean ok fine.. it's only two dollars cheaper.. but it's still very amazing! ahahhahaha! 'cos how come suddenly have "discount" out of nowhere?? hahahahahah! praise God!!! He's so cute lah!!! hahahahahaha! =) He knows that my bank has very little money now.. so He helps me abit.. even though it's abit but it's ok! 'cos it's still abit and it's very funny!! 'cos i really didn't expect it to happen at all.. i didn't mind at all to pay $50.. hahahahaha! God's so cute!!!! hahahahahahahahah! ok fine, i think i'm really crazy.. hahahahahah! =D

serene's birthday todayyyy!!! heh =D happy birthday serene!!!!! =D

i didn't get any letter from nus! so that means no nus medicine for me? =) but it's ok!!! =D i'm completely ok about it! heh =D told God already! told Him that i'll just rest in Him already! heh =D so now it's adelaide! He knows what's the best present to give to me! heh =D just trust in Him.. trust in Him.. =)

oh you know today i went for first service.. then...... i fell asleep!!!!! hahahahahahah! =) haven't fallen asleep during service since a long long time ago.. devil, you trying to make me miss the Good News right? stupid you.. i didn't! hahahaha! 'cos even though i was falling alseep, i caught what pastor was trying to say! so devil, you loseeeee! hahahahahahahah! lousy devil, stupid devil.. you horrible horrible thing.. hahahahahahah!

ok! i'm going to blog a long one today! heh =D

1. the roads around my new house is like a graveyard for poor little unfortune animals leh.. hahahaha! so far right, i've seen 2 dead birds, 1 dead rat, and just this afternoon, i saw a dead lizard.. it wasn't those wall lizards kind.. it was those iguana is it? hahahahah! don't know lah.. but reptile family one.. hahaha! it was gross lah.. only it's head was mashed.. and the rest of the body was intact.. super super gross.. poor thing leh.. hai.. so unfortunate.. then there was a dead rat, and crows were like picking on its carcass.. =(

2. ok, on a happier note, i've got a testimony to share! heh =D 'cos yesterday mel and i ponned work to sleep in and go shopping for jac's present.. so then we were shopping shopping, then when i stepped out of the popular bookshop at orchard mrt right, i realised that my ring was lost! it's the crown ring.. and it's not mine it's my sister's.. so i was like shittt.. hahahaha! 'cos i was wearing another ring on my right forth finger so my crown ring couldn't fit onto any other finger except my wedding finger but i cannot wear on my wedding finger mah.. 'cos not married yet mah.. hahahah! so then anyway mel and i traced our steps and we went back to the toilet, asked the toilet auntie but she said she didn't see any rings, then we went back to accessorize and asked the salesgirl, but she said she saw me putting my ring back onto my finger.. so then i gave up and i just told mel never mind lah.. can't help it mah.. then we just continued to shop.. then mel and i went to lido to eat nachos and drink.. and we sat in front of the big screen then i suddenly thought of my ring again.. as in 'cos previously we were just shopping, so i sort of forgot about the ring.. actually i totally forgot about the lost ring.. then so when i thought of the ring again, i was thinking, will God bring my ring back to me like how He did to my jie? so i started to look through my bag again.. then this bag has like a cardboard at the bottom of the bag like a base lah.. so i was ichy fingers.. i went to lift up the cardboard, without thinking that maybe the ring may be there.. i was just ichy fingers lah.. heh.. then guess what????!!!!! ta-da! the ring was there! it was sitting there nicely! hahahah! praise God lor!! firstly, after i lost the ring, ya i did want to trace back my steps to find it, but as i was doing that, i wasn't a slightest bit kan cheong.. then after that even though i couldn't find it, i was super slack about it also.. i was just like never mind lah.. i just like rested.. as in i think God really gave me a bo-chap attitude.. bo chap attitude 'cos i trust in Him.. then after that at lido, God suddenly reminded me of my lost ring.. and seriously, He guided me to go lift up the cardboard.. He's truly amazing! heh =D and just about a day ago, i was just thinking about restoration leh.. like how last time Pastor preched about restoration of lost items.. God really works in mighty ways! He works mighty miracles!. i rest and He works.. that's how i want to live my life.. =D how shiok.. heh =D my sweet Daddy God! the mighty One! =D

3. i just came home after going out with serene.. the six of us were suppose to meet up to go play board games at settlers cafe at clarke quay.. but in the end only serene and i turned up.. but we didn't go play.. we were just at plaza sing.. then we ate at pizza hut.. then we walked around.. then we walked from plaza sing all the way to wheellock place.. and the whole time we were just talking.. talking about.. heh... guys.. hahahahahaha! =D don't worry serene, i'll interview your guy.. and he'll be as accomodating.. heh =D and i'm certain that our eight become sixteen dream will be fulfilled one day! hahahahah! soon!!! we're almost there!!!! hahahahahahah! =D anyway serene, i just had a very good time today! thank you! heh =D looking forward to our trippppppppppp!!!! heh =D and i'm still quite surprised that e's coming too! hahahahah! =D

4. yesterday's surprise party for jac was so fun! hahahahahahah! very funny.. everyone kept saying that i was very kan cheong.. i was excited okkk.. hahahah! first time i'm giving someone a surprise party.. and jac so funny.. she was so stunned she didn't say much.. hahahah! =D we went home at like two am.. i reached home at around two.. then this morning i had tuition at ten thirty.. was i was slightly late.. heh.. reached at ten forty five? heh.. =D then after that i came home and ate mummy's delicious food! heh =D currrry!!! and fish!!! hahahahah! =D happy birthday mummy! heh =D then after that ma, jie and i went to carrefour at ps for grocery shopping.. heh.. kor's girlfriend was at home! heh =D she so poor thing.. my korkor left her to watch meteor garden alone.. hahahaha! then at one point of time in the afternoon everyone fell asleep in our own rooms and she was left in the living room to watch tv.. hahahahah! =D

5. oh i want to talk about betty crocker! hahahahah! =D i finally had my first successful baking sesson on the ave of serene's mama's birthday!! hahahahah! =D serene came to my house in the afternoon on one of the weekdays.. can't remember which day already.. 'cos she took leave 'cos she had stomach pains.. then she just stayed at my house until i came home from work.. then we went to carrefour to buy cookie mix! heh =D and i'm so proud to say that our cookies turned out very very very very very very well!!!! hahahaha! they were yummy!!!!! heh =D =D =D praise God! =D then we packed it in a nice red box for serene's mummy.. heh =D today jiejie bought another packet of the cookie mix 'cos she likes the cookies.. but honestly, we all know that she won't make the cookies one.. hahahahahah! never mind lah jie, one day when i feel like it i make for you ok? heh =D

6. congrats mel for getting shortlisted for the denistry interviews!!! heh =D praise God! i know that you'll confirm got accepted into denistry one!!! heh =D now i really can't wait to get my letter from nus or call or letter from university of adelaide! =D casted my university studies to him at approximately 9:45 pm on 14th april 2005, thursday, in the rock auditorium during bible study so i'm NOT going to take that care back! heh =D

i've got so many things to say again! heh =)

1. van houten milk chocolates are very yummy! heh =) just globbed up THREE.. hahahah! =)

2. today i felt so silly 'cos after work i rushed off to the mrt and took the NEL to go for tuition at hougang.. then along the way i was deleting messages in my outbox.. then i opened the message that i sent to my tuition kid.. then i saw, eh?? i said, "see you on wednesday!" instead of "see you on tuesday!".. haiyo!!! i so blur! then i faster called her and she was like, "ya what, you said wednesday." haiyo! so i had to get out of the mrt and take the mrt to the opposite direction.. and during that, i scratched myself quite hard 'cos i was carrying alot of stuff, including the thick A Maths textbook.. then got blood leh!!! i think i ripped out a small part of my skin.. hahahahah! hai.. silly jia.. heh

aiya, now i suddenly don't feel like writing already.. hahaha.. sorry.. another day when i feel like it! heh.. still got alot of say but don't feel like typing! heh =)

played tennis yesterday with lydia and mel.. heh.. it was.. interesting. hahahahah! we played played, then later oops, one ball flew out.. then another, and another and another.. hahahah! so altogether four flew out.. and i was the culprit of one.. hahahaha! then 'cos we were playing at the court beside the road, so the ball did not fly to the carpark there, but it flew among these like trees and grass and bushes.. so we just decided to play on then later go and hunt for the balls.. then as we were playing, we noticed a tennis ball stuck on the ledge on the wall of the tennis court.. so we tried to take that ball down.. mel and i climbed onto the fence and tried to use our rackets to hit the ball down but to no avail.. then mel tried to use another tennis ball to hit the ball that was up there down.. but in the end, both balls were stuck up there.. hahahah! so then we had to drag the HEAVY bench all the way from the middle of the court to the corner of the court, and i sat on the bench to prevent the bench from tilting as mel climbed onto the bench and she reached out to get the tennis balls.. but it wasn't that easy either, but thanks to lydia's directions, we managed to get the two balls down.. hahahah! super funny lah.. then after playing, mel and i climbed up a small and dusty slop at the carpark to get to the grass-tree-bushes area.. and we searched for our tennis balls.. and guess what? praise God! we found more balls than we hit out! hahahahah! indeed, the children of Isreal came out of the land with silver and gold.. hahahahah! but then... mel rolled one tennis ball down the slope to lydia, but then the ball rolled into the drain.. hahahahah! but nevertheless, we still had a bonus of two tennis balls! hahahahah! =) super funny lah.. haiyo.. i think the guys won't ever want to play with us already.. hahahah we should get CHEAP balls.. hahahaha.. so there'll be no loss.. hahahah!

then after that we walked halfway to holland v, then decided to take a bus instead.. hahahah! then we went to breko to eat.. and i saw a few ac guys there.. we ordered crumbed scallops and french fries, and lydia got ice fruit tea, mel got fire ball, and i got snapple pink lemonade.. yummy food.. heh.. i love finger food.. heh =) unhealthy but it makes jia happy.. hahahaha! =) then we were talking talking laughing laughing, then we left for home.. heh =)

i'm in office now.. serene called me just now in the morning and she was having very bad cramps.. so she's at my house now resting.. heh.. jiejie let her in.. =) tonight i'm going to bake cookies with serene for her mummy's birthday tomorrow! heh =) hope it'll be successful! heh =) oh and i messaged my tuition kid about the change in tuition time from today to tomorrow, but she still hasn't replied!! how?? hahahah.. i don't care lah.. hahaha

oh i love the song that the church guy singers sang after every serivce yesterday.. "Your favourite name is Father".. super nice song.. i just found the lyrics online.. heh.. and found the link to download the song.. but i don't think i can download it in office lah.. heh.. now i'm already slacking lah.. blogging during work.. but got nothing for me to do right now.. so i don't care.. heh.. i'm like typing in NOTEPAD first, then later will copy and paste into blogger.. heh =)

heh so happy.. made new friends.. li ru, suzzane, grace, adeline, derek, marilyn, moses, agnes , sam.. yupyup! heh.. =D

anyway just got back from church.. first time in a long time since i came home after church.. heh.. 'cos usually got something on after church one.. =)
went for second service today.. then helped out at the men's and women's meeting ticket counter before and after the service.. sat with sam, moses and grace for service.. then met ujin to get the tennis rackets and balls from him.. then went to hans at park mall to get coffee for my mummy.. and today's a hot day! didn't help at all.. 'cos the rackets and balls were heavy, and i was carrying coffee.. argh. then just had my lunch.. didn't have breakfast.. so i gobbled up my lunch.. heh =)

this morning i gave mummy, papa, korkor and jiejie some money each.. heh.. worked for a few months already but haven't give them any money.. bought some nice precious moments stickers and stuck them on those name card cards.. heh.. then put the money and card on their tables.. they better spend the money wisely.. hahahaha! no lah.. they can do anything they want with it.. it's theirs already.. heh =)

later going to lyd's place to play tennis! heh =) my left wrist hurts alittle.. don't know why leh... i think i slept on my hand last night... hahahahahah! =D

anyway yesterday night after campus we went to the food junction foodcourt for dinner.. the girls went to bk and long john's to get food.. then when we brought the food up to the foodcourt.. the uncle didn't let us eat there.. so we had to go outside and eat.. but then there were tables but they chained up all the chairs.. so nice ujin went back in to get a chair for my jiejie to sit on 'cos she had ban mian to eat.. so she couldn't possibly stand and it.. can you imagine noodles dangling from her mouth some height above the table? hahahaha.. then the rest of the girls just stood and ate our fastfood.. and the guys stood around and talked.. and i'm really sorry gris, that i laughed at your coleslaw thingy.. sorry.. i feel very bad now.. but i'm doing it for your sake! for W! heh =D

then after that we went to starbucks for a drink.. but i didn't get anything.. didn't feel like getting anything.. then the guys started talking about their ri days again, so we girls decided that we shall talk among ourselves too and ignore the guys.. hahahahah! but it was really fun.. heh =) then all thanks to ujin again, ( i bet it was him who started it).. they started to talk about indra shadan and me again.. so embarassing lah.. got the soundman and zj there also lah.. haiyo.. i guess i'll have to live with it 'cos they'll never get over it.. horrible boys.. i rather indra looks like me than i look like him.. it won't be very nice if it was the latter.. heh.. =)

oh then during starbucks right, my chest suddenly very pain leh.. hahaha.. i also don't know why.. then cannot breathe properly.. hahahah! (i think it was gastric, but didn't feel like the normal gastric leh.. but it was lah i think.. heh) then we left starbucks and started to walk back to suntec, then citilink, then to the mrt.. then to our busstop.. then as jie and i were walking home, suddenly no more pain.. heh.. praise God.. it was when i forgot all about the pain that my pain was really gone.. =D

oh then this morning right, during praise and worship, i was actually very hungry.. 'cos didn't have breakfast mah.. then like my stomach felt very empty..like going to have gastric again that kind of feeling.. then pastor said that there was an anointing of healing in the audi.. and he told us to receive.. and i did.. and really, no more feeling of hungry-ness.. praise God.. but when pastor told those who have felt the pain leave, do a big wave.. but i didn't.. i shy lah.. hahahaha! =)

anyway, i think i'll really get the precious moment's bride's bible lah.. i can't wait any more already.. heh.. $50.. can lah right? =) God's the one in charge of my money.. =)

oh 'cos pearlyn and xuehui always tell me that i look like this girl from campus called ashley.. she was from ac too.. but i didn't know her.. yup.. i think two years my senior.. so then pearlyn and xuehui realised that during the survivor camp.. heh.. then anyway on saturday right, i was at the men's and women's meeting ticket counter lah.. then this guy came up to me and he wanted to purchase a ticket for himself.. then he saw for his caregroup no one bought yet.. so he was like never mind, he come back later.. then he turned away from the counter, wanting to walk away already lah, but then he turned back again and asked me, " are you by any chance ashley? " hahahahah! super funny lah! hahahaha.. i met pearlyn and xuehui today and i told them and the three of us were like laughing like mad.. hahahahah! super funny.. =D

i'm looking for shorts to play tennis with leh.. 'cos i always use my mgs shorts.. and they are loose.. hahahah! and i'll stuff alot of balls into my pockets, so when i run my shorts are like really dropping.. hahahah! went to Why Pay More today, but didn't find any nice cheap shorts with pockets.. heh..

oh!!!!!!!! guess what??!!! today during praise and worship i received a message from e!!!! edward! hahahaha! and he asked whether i was wearing red today.. hahahah! turns out he was at service too! four rows behind me.. hahaha.. wa.. such a surprise.. haven't talked or seen him for so long already.. then after service i wanted to go talk to him one.. but then he left already.. then after that i called him, but he didn't answer, then he called me, but i didn't answer, then i called him again, and finally he answered.. hahahahah! he said 'cos he woke up late for his own church's service, so he came for new cre's one.. heh =) must tell the twins man!!! heh =) then he said he knew that we're going to visit the twins, then he ask me to pay for his air ticket so that he can go too.. hahahahah! wa really man, it was nice to hear from him again.. heh.. so long already leh.. many many years.. and it's so nice how he's still so nice even though the twins are not in singapore already and we like don't talk already.. but like, we're still friends.. hahahah! so nice.. =) must tell the twins later.. heh =D

oh i received the prospectus for monash university already.. going to apply for bachelor of radiography and medical imaging.. =)

today's service was very good! got revelation! heh =) in luke 2:40, " and the Child grew and became in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him. " so the Child here is Jesus. and pastor was asking us, why was the grace of God upon Jesus if He didn't sin? if He knew no sin? romans 5:20 says, "where sin abounds, grace abounds MUCH MORE.".. so pastor was saying some people may argue and say, " ok lah, so i go and sin, sin alot alot, 'cos it's ok what, grace will abound much more, so i can freely go and sin." but hey, that's not the way to receive grace.. 'cos if that's the way to receive grace, then why did Jesus receive grace from God when He didn't sin? funny right? so then pastor showed us why.. we went to look for the first time grace was mentioned in the bible.. and it's in genesis 6:8, " but noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. " so why did noah find grace in the eyes of the Lord? what did he do? naoh means rest in Hebrew.. REST REST REST!!! so what did noah do? nothing!! he just rested in God! rest finds grace.. romans 4:5 says "but to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness."... it's not about work my dears, it about RESTING, and believing in our dear Father that He will provide, and i assure you that He will.. He's in control.. and He knows what He's doing.. and He knows what's best for You.. and above all, most most most most most most importantly, JESUS LOVES YOU. =D yeah? yeah.. =D and the most amazing example of Someone who rests is Jesus Himself! He was a super busy man when He was on earth! Jairus asked Him to come to his house to heal his sick daughter, and on the way, the woman with the issue of blood came and touched the hem of His garment, and Jesus turned around and asked, "who touched Me?".. and said, "daughter, your faith has made you well." and all this while, jairus must be like peeing in his pants lah.. 'cos his daughter is like half-dead at home and Jesus still has time to stop and look for the woman who touched Him.. it's amazing.. Jesus is so calm and cool about everything.. He does work from rest.. not from worry, not from anxiety.. not from fear.. then in the sea of gallilee right, there was a storm, and our sweet Jesus was sleeping in the midst of the storm while His disciples were like panicking.. and Jesus just spoke, "be still." and hey hey, the winds and the rains stopped. amazing.. and when they reached the shore, there was a mad mad mad man who was possessed by many many demons, and he was so possessed that he could even break the chains that were tied to him.. but when he came near Jesus, he just fell.. Jesus was so calm.. He stepped out of the boat and approached the man.. while all His other disciples were like shaking and sweating in the boat lah.. hahahahaha!

my goodness... we have a good God my friends.. so amazing.. i'm so glad that i'm made in the image of God.. we are all God's beloved sons and daughters.. =)

hey my mummy just came into my room and asked me what i was doing.. then i told her about today's message.. i really hope she's thinking about it now.. and she sees the truth.. =) on the cards that i gave to my family with the money i wrote, "Jesus loves you dearly." i hope they realise that it's out of Jesus's love that they are blessed leh.. it's in God's hands.. =) leave it to Him.. =)

ok maybe i'll go take a nap now.. then later wake up for tennis.. =) still don't know who's going leh.. i think maybe in the end only mel and i.. hahahahah! ok, blog later! =D

heh i realise that for my past four posts i started them off with "i".. hahahah! ok that's so out of point..

anyway, i was too tired yesterday to blog! hahahah... yesterday i worked OT for half an hour 'cos i was going to meet bee after work.. and her work ends at six.. and mine ends at five thirty.. so might as well work overtime for half an hour if not i'll just sit and do nothing at the bus stop.. heh.. so cool that the both of us are working at harbourfront.. heh

so anyway, we went down to holland v to meet serene.. and the three of us arrived at the same time! heh.. perfect timing.. then we went to my optician 'cos bee wanted to check her eyesight.. heh.. while bee was checking her eyes in the some room, serene and i were trying on funny spects.. heh.. then we concluded that actually those hugh ones right.. they actually look very good on the face.. 'cos it like makes you look like a star.. hahahaha! but then the only problem is that it's so big until our noses couldn't really hold the spects up.. hahaha! and serene's nose small small one.. so it was even worse.. hahahah! super funny.. so anyway bee finally came out and then she chose her new spects.. heh.. =) she can go collect on wednesday.. don't know whether i'll be following her or not.. heh =)

then after that we went to nydc to eat.. heh.. i ordered roast chicken with pepper baked rice, serene ordered mushroom madness zitti pasta, and bee ordered three amigos zitti pasta.. heh.. my food wasn't very nice.. i thought the stredded chicken was alittle too dry leh.. and the mozarella cheese was not very soft.. as in like harden already.. ya.. the very fast time i ate at nydc was the one at wheellock place with my class the day after fun-o-rama when we had to go back to school to clean up lt 5 (our haunted house).. ya.. that time i think i ate the three amigos zitti pasta i think.. didn't think it was that great too.. so now i've concluded that nydc doesn't have nice pasta/rice.. so next time i'll not eat those from there.. $10 for my rice leh.. my heart so pain ah.. my money.. hahaha.. disappointed with the food.. BUTTTTTTT... when it came to desert... wow.. hahahahaha! we ordered jedi mudster and the oreo obession.. heh.. lovely stuff... jedi is undoubtedly very nice.. then for the oreo obession, you have to eat it with the icecream... if not it's too like dry and sticky.. bee said it's suppose to be cheesecake ah? i don't know lah.. but nonetheless with the icecream, it's really very nice.. i think next time i'll just go nydc for their deserts.. heh.. their sinful deserts.. heh =D

so as we ate we talked.. and we talked and we talked.. hahahah.. talked until ten o'clock leh.. i didn't realise that it was so late 'cos the whole place was still so crowded.. heh.. friday night.. was so nice lah.. we were talking about sec one days, sec two days.. then later we went on to jc days.. hahahaah! then we realised that we weren't very close during our sec one days.. ya.. then we were trying to figure out how did the eight of us become to so close during sec two days.. hahahah! and serene, bee and i remembered our BEANSPROUTS project.. hahahaha! super funny lah! hahahahah! i really really had a super nice time! i love you girls!! heh =D

i can't believe it man.. serene's leaving for canada in august, bee may be staying in singapore/going to australia, me also.. hai.. then the twins are in australia, then anna, kes and grace will be staying in singapore.. then the eight of us will really be spread out all around the world.. ok sort of lah.. hahahaha! but i still strongly believe that we will be still super super close! heh! =D this is when we must make the effort to like call each other up, or email each other, or read each other's blogs to find out what's going on in our respective lives.. =)

as we were talking about our sec school days right, i suddenly felt older.. as in more matured.. as in i felt that i've experienced so much already.. hahaha.. six years is a small number, but then it's actually a very long period of time.. i think it's 'cos of jc and post-jc.. i've been more busy.. as in like have more activities.. so i feel that my time is like more well spent.. hahahaha aiya! i don't know how to say lah.. hahaha.. but you get what i mean right? heh =) then i was thinking, where will i be without God leh.. i would be like some of my friends, so paranoid, so negative, so worried, so without hope, so lost.. why can't they just accept Jesus into their lives and have ABUNDANCE of life ya? =) never mind, soon soon.. heh =) so irritating that God gave us free choice.. but so sweet too.. haiya, God's just shall a nice guy... hahahaha! =)

anyway back to my story.. hahaha.. so after our dinner we walked to the bus stop and bee was promoting bus number 502.. hahahahah! 'cos express bus mah... then serene wanted to get home faster.. hahaha.. but then it's more expensive.. it was super funny lah.. but anyway serene took bus number 7 in the end.. heh.. then bee and i crossed over the bridge to our busstop.. then her bus came almost immediately... and my bus came soon after.. on the bus i fell asleep.. hahaha.. don't know why so tired also.. sleepy lah.. i think 'cos i ate until too full.. hahahahah! and plus i was listening to nice soothing music, so i guess all these induced me to fall alseep.. hahahah!

so now it's saturday morning and i just woke up.. feels good to sleep late.. heh.. ok 9am is counted late for me nowadays 'cos i usually wake up at six fifty for work everyday.. heh.. =) and later i must really really go pack our wardrobe.. heh.. must must MUST! heh.. oh anyway i've decided already, i'm going to quit my job on sixth of may.. (my birthday!).. 'cos i'll be leaving singapore on the ninth of may.. monday.. ya.. and my pay cheque has not come yet.. but mel's one come already, and we posted our timesheets in the same envelope.. weird.. but anyway i called my agent up, and she said if i don't receive my cheque over the weekend, then call her again on monday and she'll issue me another one.. heh =D

actually today suppose to have tuition at one.. but then my tuition kid said that she's going overseas with her dad on a trip.. short trip.. ya.. so no more.. then jasmine messaged us last night as us whether want to go shopping trip at ps.. maybe i'll join them.. but haven't replied her yet.. then later have combined service.. can't wait.. heh =D i really want to hear deconness lian preach! =D

i asked serene whether she wants to come for sunday service with me tomorrow.. hope she does! and i want to ask my mummy too! heh =D

the results for application into faculty of medicine and faculty of dentistry will be out soon.. mid april.. but i don't feel scared at all leh.. nowadays i've been living in a state of bo-chap-ness.. hahahahah! is that bad??? hahahaha.. come to think of it, shouldn't i be more worried about my university application? hahaha.. aiya don't know lah.. just bo-chap about it.. it's God lah ya? God.. =)

Snatching Victory From Defeat - Kenneth E. Hagin Junior

Have you ever noticed that in the Bible, some of the greatest victories came out of what looked like utter defeat? That’s what God in His Almighty power can do! It’s been said that great victories come out of great battles. It’s true. Throughout history, we can see that some of the greatest triumphs of faith came from situations that looked impossible. Do you know what made the difference in these situations? What the people believed! It was their faith in God that determined if their outcome would be victory or defeat.

Very often, it can seem as if the enemy has triumphed and gotten the upper hand over you. Sometimes the circumstances look like the devil’s got everything going his way, and you’ve got nothing going your way. But then God comes along with His miracle-working power and upsets the devil’s schemes. God takes what the devil meant for harm and turns the whole situation around! Nothing is too hard for God!

You may be facing a situation right now that’s so dark, it seems like the enemy has ganged up on you. He may be trying to steal your joy and your triumph. But you don’t have to let him get away with your victory. You can snatch victory out of defeat!

Let’s look at some of the Bible’s “faith giants” so we can see how to turn the devil’s defeat into the Lord’s victory.

DANIEL 3:1,3–6 1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. . . 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

King Nebuchadnezzar made a large golden image so all his subjects could assemble around it. Then King Nebuchadnezzar ordered the people to worship the idol. But there were three Hebrew young men who wouldn’t bow before the golden image. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had been taught not to worship any God except the Lord God, the true and living God.

The king asked them, “. . . Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?” (Dan. 3:14). Then the king warned them what would happen to them if they continued to disobey the royal decree.

DANIEL 3:15 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “We do not have to defend ourselves to you, O King. Our God will take care of us.” The King James Version says, “. . . we are not careful to answer thee in this matter” (v. 16).

Then the three Hebrew children proclaimed their faith by saying, “. . . our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king” (Dan. 3:17).

Whenever you make a statement of faith, be ready to back it up with a statement of commitment, or else your faith won’t work! That’s exactly what these three Hebrews did. Their statement of faith was that God would deliver them.

Then in the next verse, they declared their statement of commitment. DANIEL 3:18 18 . . . be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

These three young men were committed to God! Even faced with a fiery ordeal, they looked to God as their Deliverer. They weren’t about to defile their faith by bowing down to the king’s image.

When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego took a stand for God, the king heated the furnace seven times hotter and ordered them thrown into the fire!

DANIEL 3:20–23 20 And he [the king] commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

At this point, it seemed as though the enemy had won, even though these men were bravely standing for God. Even though Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego boasted, “God is going to deliver us,” all they got was a hot oven!

If it had been some of us, when we didn’t get delivered the way we had planned, we would have been crying to God, “Oh, Lord! My hands are bound, and I’m about to be thrown into this fiery furnace. I thought You were going to deliver me!”

It will take a greater commitment of faith than that if you’re going to be delivered. You’re going to have to stand steadfastly on the Word and believe God for your deliverance. In fact, where there’s no commitment to believing God, there’s no strong faith!

I want you to see something about a strong commitment to faith in God. Yes, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fire. But the only thing that happened to them is that the fire burned off the ropes that had them bound! How do I know that? Because when the king looked into the fiery furnace, he saw the Hebrews walking around free—and a fourth Man walking with them (see Dan. 3:25)!

It’s important for you to understand that even though it seems like Satan binds you up and throws you in the middle of the fire, you can still walk free in God. To do that, you’ll have to keep on believing God. And if you’ll keep your faith in God, He will use that fiery trial
to burn away what’s binding you!

God can turn your situation around, even in the midst of the fire! There’s nothing too hard for Him. These Hebrew young men didn’t throw away their belief in God when they were thrown into that fiery furnace. Because their faith in God was strong, they could snatch victory from defeat!

It’s not too late for you to snatch victory from defeat in your situation. If you’ll keep your faith in God, all the fire will do is burn off your bonds and turn you loose to be stronger and stronger in God. The secret to snatching victory from defeat is to fellowship with God in the midst of a fiery trial. That’s how you can come out of it feeling cool and refreshed, even though you’ve been in the fire!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew the secret of snatching victory from defeat. They kept their faith in God strong so the devil couldn’t win in the end. We must remember that!

The devil tries to do the same thing to us today. He tries to throw us into a fiery trial. Then he’ll taunt us to try and get us out of faith. He’ll tell us his lies by saying things like, If you really had faith, you wouldn’t be in this situation. God isn’t going to deliver you! If you try to believe Him for this miracle, you’ll just die.

Don’t you fall for the enemy’s lies! God is the same today as He was in the days of the three Hebrew children. His arm is not shortened! Since God could save and deliver Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, He can save and deliver you and me!

Just know that when you’re standing in faith for something, Satan will try to oppose you. Your faith may be tested in the fire. But don’t lose your faith! Don’t get upset if God doesn’t eliver you exactly the way you thought He should.

Maybe you thought He should have delivered you before you were actually thrown into the fire! But if you’ll learn how to snatch victory from defeat, it doesn’t matter when God delivers you; you can know your deliverance is certain!

Stand in faith, believing God, and the fire won’t hurt you. You’ll walk out of your fiery ordeal unharmed. By faith in God, you’ll snatch a great victory, even from utter defeat!

God is ready to meet your need. Simply enter His Presence with praise and watch as He answers your prayers according to His Word! If you’ll keep your faith in God, God will use that fiery trial to burn away what’s binding you!

When it looked like certain death, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego chose to look to the Lord. Even in the midst of burning flames, God was with them, enabling them to triumph over an impossible situation. So look to God in the midst of yoursituation. He’s there with you—and He’s able to lead you out!
• When it looks like darkness—God is Light (John 8:12).
• When it looks like sickness—God is your Healer (Exod. 15:26).
• When it looks like the bills won’t get paid—God is the One Who meets your needs (Phil. 4:19).
• When it looks like you can’t do it—God is your Helper (Heb. 13:6).
• When it looks like you’re being attacked—God is your shield and buckler (Ps. 91).
• When it looks like you’re all alone—God is your Comforter; He will never leave you or forsake you (John 14:18; Heb. 13:5).

i really want my world's smallest bible!!!!!! have been looking for it high and low and low and high, but still cannot find!! =( =( =( if anyone sees it right, please tell me where to get it and how much it is ok?? heh.. it's called "the world's smallest bible" WITHOUT the snap-flap.. yupyup =) oh actually i also don't mind the precious moment's bride's bible.. heh.. but it's slightly bigger and hardcover lah.. ya.. but i dont' mind! heh.. Jesus is coming back for His bride! and that's ME! hahahah! =D

anyway, today mel and i worked OT.. heh.. and we were saying how fast time passes by when we work OT.. heh.. i'm going to wake up tomorrow morning to cook lunch for mel and i! heh.. garlic mashed pototaes and chicken cocktail sausages! heh.. really hope the mashed potatoes turn out well! heh =D

i don't care i have to blog this.. in office now.. just got to work..

today right, my mummy asked me to help her throw the thrash.. 'cos now in our new house we don't have rubbish chute..so we have to "manually" bring the rubbish down to throw..then today had two bags to throw, we took a huge plastic bag to store the two smaller bags in it.. then i carried it down to the ground floor and wanted to throw it.. but when i reached the ground floor i realised that the bag broke! got hole! hahaha! and there were "juices" on the floor! hahahahahah! smelly smelly.. hahahah! so i had to go all the way back up and go get a new plastic bag.. it was quite la-chey.. but then when i stepped into my room right, guess what i saw on my bed?? my handphone!!! praise God leh! heh.. 'cos if the bag didn't have a hole, then i wouldn't have gone up to get another plastic bag, then i wouldn't have stepped into my room.. then i wouldn't have seen my handphone.. then i wouldn't have brought my handphone out with me today.. and going out without handphone is very very very inconvenient and it'll feel like something is missing.. so praise God! He's good! heh.. He made the bag broke! and although i had to touch the horrible "juices".. but it's alright! hahahah! =D

oh then right, at my house right, as i was carrying the thrash to the "thrash container" right.. hahahah! eh? no.. not called thrash container.. it's thrash dump.. eh? what do you call it? aiya! the big green thingy to dump all the thrash in lah! hahaha! so ya i was walking towards that.. then i saw a lady walking towards her car.. but then she suddenly like skipped over this thing on the floor.. then from far i though it was a huge green leaf.. but then when i walked closer right.. waaaaaaaaaaa!! it was a bird!!! a dead bird!! =( =( =( it was a pretty bird leh!!! had green, yellow, red colours.. very pretty.. but it was dead.. it was like lying on it's front.. i don't know how it died.. so sad.. then the lady called the cleaner over to clear the carcass.. then the horrible cleaner (ok fine he's not horrible 'cos he helped to clear the carcass so that no one else will see the dead bird and be traumatised by the sight) he picked up the poor dead bird by its tail leh!!! i mean why couldn't he like scoop the little thing up? or like you know like cup it? so he was like holding it by its tail.. so poor thing!! dead already and still not treated properly.. so sad..

but anyway, thank goodness the cleaner helped to remove it.. 'cos if my sister sees it right, she'll REALLY be traumatised.. hahahah! jiejie can't take these kind of dead stuff.. rats, birds, cockroaches.. etc.. i still remember last time in our old house right, in the middle of the night, i heard my sister like "crying" and like calling for me.. 'cos she had accidentally killed a cockroach.. and it was under her feet.. something like that.. then she was like frozen.. hahahah! super funny.. jiejie so cute.. heh.. =D then everytime when we see a dead animal right, she'll like be distraught.. super funny.. hahahahhaah! ok that's all! =D

1. finally my internet is up again! heh =D thank you korkor for fixing and settling everything! heh =D

2. lyd, deb, jac, i'm finally over it!!!! heh =D you three know what i'm talking about right? right?? heh.. =) ya leh.. really leh.. really over over it already.. heh =D so happy! heh =D God's good ya? heh =D

3. i had a great sunday yesterday! heh =) went for first service.. reached the rock at eight.. met with deb and her family.. then later gris came and we passed kenneth his present.. it was super funny 'cos he was asleep.. then we woke him up.. and the whole "charile" and "angels" thing was just hilarious lah! hahahaahah! i thitnk we're really crazy.. hahahaha! anyway kenneth, happy birthday again! heh =D wa we can really see that we really have the same Holy Spirit hor? heh.. the pencil case thingy.. heh =D

4. bee was with me at church too! then after service we were like walking around in suntec.. and i bought stuff! wahahahah! =) a top, a skirt, and FINALLY, my handphone pouch! wahahahahah! =D God's good God's good! heh =) then we ate one and a half pretzel from auntie anne's and a small cup of lemonade for lunch.. then we shopped some more.. then we went into a vcd shop.. and we suddenly got this crazy idea to make our own movie posters! hahahaha! the eight of us.. heh.. and bee and i had the craziest ideas! ahhh!!! can't wait!! heh =) hope that the twins will come back at least once before serene leaves so that we can take our pictures for the posters! heh =D we'll have like different genres.. action cartoon comedy drama (horror?romance?RA?HAHAHAHAHAHAH!)..

5. then after that i rushed off to lyd's house for tennis!!! and it was only ujin, mel and i there.. then later lyd came.. heh.. and waaaaa.. i really couldn't play properly!! i think it's the way i hold my racket.. and my racket kept like shifting out of my hand when i hit the ball.. my fault lah.. i never hold the racket properly.. heh.. but then after that it was better.. then after playing doubles for a long while, we switched to singles, and i played with ujin and lyd played with mel.. heh.. i like singles better.. although it's more tiring.. but i think it's more fun! heh =D then after tennis we went down to holland v for supper.. we sat outside the foodcourt there.. heh.. the whole night was really super duper fun.. 'cos we kept laughing and laughing and laughing.. and sometimes we laugh for nothing one leh.. hahahaah! lydia lah! she would just start laughing and not stop... in the middle of the game some more leh.. hahahah super funny.. i think we were all just too high.. hahahah! then at supper ujin labelled us.. i was the caveman, lyd was the-one-who-couldn't-stop-laughing, and mel was the-one-who-just-couldn't-seem-to-catch-stuff.. hahahahah! crazy lah.. really lah.. hahahaha

6. reached home last night at around twelve.. was really really REALLY sweaty and smelly and sticky.. hahahaha! and i hurry up bathed.. heh.. =D then slept.. and today right, wa... i was tiredddd.. hahahaha! in the morning at work right, my contact lenses were like blur blur leh.. like out of focus.. i think my eyes were tired lah.. ya.. then my kidneys hurt.. hahahaha! no lah.. as in like the muscles around my kidneys area.. hahahah! 'cos when i play tennis i would like bend.. and we kept picking up balls.. so ya.. bend.. hahahaha! then in the afternoon right, i was really sleepy.. nearly fell asleep.. hahahaha! for once right, i wished that i didn't have any work to do, so that i can just sleep in the office.. hahahahah! oh oh! mel and i had healthy "desert" today! we bought grapes!!! the red ones.. heh.. one kilogram of grapes.. heh =D yummy yummy! but i thought they were alittle too small! heh.. 'cos usually mummy would buy the big red ones.. heh =D and first time in my life i saw BABY grapes.. hahahahahaha! so cute leh.. they are like green and not translucent.. heh... hahahahha! i'm crazy.. hahahahah!

7. then after work i went for tuition.. just came back only.. heh.. =) tonight must really sleep to get back my rest.. heh.. =) oh bee lent me season two and season three's csi!!! yipeeee! hahahahah! and MILLION DOLLAR BABY!!! yaaaayyyy!!!!! can't wait to watch!!! actually i want to watch tonight leh.. should i should i???!!!! heh.. but maybe i'll fall sleep halfway.. so better not.. or else i'll spoil the show for myself.. heh =D

8. anyway, i finally bought my small little notebook to write all my testimonials.. heh.. as in like when God speaks to me anytime of the day, or when God does something for me anytime of the day, then i want to like write it down.. heh.. =D

9. oh i got my air tickets to melbourne already! yay!! hahahahah! i really cant believe that serene and i are FINALLY going on a trip together ALONE! wahahahahah! praise God leh!! 'cos who in the world will know that mummy and papa will actually let me go on a trip alone leh! with a friend lah.. heh.. God's good God's good! heh =D you know what??!! i just thought of this >> it's God's favour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heh! =D really leh!!! heh.. amazing man.. heh.. and night cycling also.. last time mummy CONFIRM won't let me go one.. but then now she does! and campus camp too! on saturday morning she was asleep and i woke her up and asked her to help me sign my indemnity form and she just very willingly signed! wa wa waaaaa!!! heh =D i know God's doing something in my family! i know it! and it's true! amen! heh =D

10. oh ya!!! and i wanted to say that i like it when my papa makes my mummy laugh.. heh =D ok this is so embarassing but ya.. i just feel very happy when that happens.. heh.. =D

The Restoration Power of God by Lynette Hagin

Whatever the enemy has tried to take away from you, God wants to restore it. God wants to make it better than before. That’s the kind of Father He is. Every day we have choices put before us. We can be tempted to get hurt, wounded, or depressed. We can complain and remain in the same awful condition. Or we can praise God and be raised up. One of the first things the enemy will try to steal from us is our joy. He wants to get us sad, sorrowful, and oppressed. Remember what it was like when you first were saved? There was joy unspeakable. God doesn’t want us to lose that joy! Nehemiah 8:10 tells us, “The JOY of the Lord is your strength.” It is important for Christians to have joy in their life! If you don’t have joy, you don’t have any strength. Don’t stay in that valley of despair and depression. Don’t allow what people say to control you. You control your own destiny. Maybe everyone isn’t going to be thrilled about you. But God is. You are who God created you to be. And God likes you just fine. He’s thrilled about you! Where does joy come from? We tap into joy by hanging out with God! Whenwe are in His Presence, we come out with a new spring in our step, a new song in our heart. When we’re hanging out with Him, we take on His characteristics. And God is happy! Psalm 2:4 says, “He that sitteth in the heavens shall LAUGH.” When we’re hanging out with God, we start acting like Him. We’re full of joy, full of peace, full of rejoicing. You may have been through some trouble, but God is the One Who brings restoration. Isaiah 61:7 says, “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.” In The Amplified Bible, this verse says, “. . . You shall have a twofold RECOMPENSE. . . .” The word recompense is the same word that we get worker’s compensation from. You know what worker’s compensation is for? If you get
injured on the job, they pay you worker’s compensation. God is saying, “You’re working for Me. You got hurt in the service of the Lord. And I’m going to give you worker’s compensation. I’m going to give you double for your trouble.” Glory to God! Joel 2:25 says, “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm.” Some of you have been down with a lot of “worms” in your life. Some of you have lost years to a bad marriage. Some of you have lost years to health problems. But the Lord put something in my heart. He said, “My mercy is greater than your mistakes, and I am a Master at fixing any disaster.” God loves us that much. Whether we’ve done things that are our own fault, or whether it is the enemy who has stolen from us, God is still the Restorer! God wants you to have that dream fulfilled. He wants you to have joy. He wants you to have health in your body. God is a good God! And He’s got good things in store for us. Don’t let the devil steal anything from you. Declare restoration over your life!
